The Two Inch Extension Kit for Forward Controls are an easy install, extending the Footpegs forward. No more feeling cramped up, or trying to figure out how to move the seat back for more room!
Also, this kit comes with the standard footpeg mounting clevis, so if you have a later model Sportster, like the 48 or 72 that does not fit standard footpegs, Now you can install any footpeg you want!
You can choose either the Chrome or Black finish. The kit includes ALL needed hardware, and easy Step-by-Step instructions for this bolt-on install.
It includes a chrome extension for the shift rod.
The difference in comfort of being able to stretch out is much more than you would expect from 2 inches. It can make the difference between thinking that a larger bike is needed, especially for taller riders.
It does Not require any modification to the bike, or changes to the brake or shift levers.

Money well spent: 0 people found this helpfulFirst off I am 6ft 255lbs and ride a sportster 48, I have many upgrades to improve the comfort of my bike, the forward controls extensions made a huge difference and are an integral part of making a sportster comfortable for a long trip. These are top notch just like everything you buy from DK customs, well done guys.

I installed these and the difference is incredible will never go back - The only gripe I have is now the rear brake is in a slightly awkward position would be great if DK offered an option to include a extended rear brake lever? ************************* We do have a few option on that. See them at this URL- https://www.dkcustomproducts.com/foot-controls-pedals-extensions-c164-235.htm There are actual Brake Levers, and there are adjustable brake rods, which will allow you to put the stock brake lever where you want it. No more cramps! 0 people found this helpfulJust what I needed. I'm 6ft, long legs, with a La Pera solo seat on my Sporty. I almost gave in and bought a new saddle. Glad I tries this first as it's all I needed to give my legs that extra space, comfort and control. No more cramps. Love this mod. Easy install and instructions.

So worth it 0 people found this helpfulThese made a bigger difference than I was expecting! For me, they were game changers. Install was straightforward, just needed a set of snap ring pliers. The new shifter location meant that I could no longer keep my crash bars. But I will gladly take that trade off for the extra leg room and comfort.
